Ignition lock lubrication - moly or mercedes OEM?

I've been looking into the best lubrication for the ignition lock. I've read about something called "moly lubrication spray" which is supposed to be good. You get it at bicycle or motorcycle shops. or, I'm thinking about the mercedes OEM lock spray. Any suggestions or recommendations?

If your lock is sticking or binding please replace it now.If it sticks with the key in posistion 0 it will be awful to remove.I did not listen to advice.

thats a big x2. I also did not listen to advice. A new non door matching tumber and key is around 40 bucks, from the dealer 100 something matching the VIN. Both prices are great compared to the amount of work that goes into having to replace the tumbler the hard way. For me, it turned into 250 dollars in parts, and the car being out of action for a month and a half.

No, the key is not sticking or binding. I just want to lube the ignition lock so it will last longer.

I highly recommend dry graphite. You can find this in most automotive and industrial supply retailers.
Unlike other lubricants that attract dirt and grit because it stays 'wet' and oily, graphite only lubricates. The carrier evaporates quickly leaving only slippery dust that coats all surfaces.
I lubricate all of my locks and tumblers every Spring and Fall.
In the ignition be careful. While you can wash it off it is very difficult and it stains grey. So use lots of small squirts and even place an old rag on the floor in case it drips on the carpet.
On the outside locks place the rag below the lock to catch anything that may get on the paint and spay liberally inside the tumblers. Hold the cloth there for a few minutes. Then wipe the surface of the lock clean.
