Need Exhaust Manifold for 82 240D
Hello,
Seems the problem with my 1982 240D exhaust has migrated to the exhaust manifold. I may need a replacement and was wondering if anyone has a used one for this year car they would be willing to sell for a reasonable price. The car has 280,000 miles and I do not feel like buying new replacement parts or spending more money than necessary. Thanks for the responses. Jim The report of the demise of the exhaust manifold was premature. My daughter took the car to Midas and they called to tell her it had a cracked manifold. In further examination with the Midas guy it turns out the exhaust manifold gasket is shot, and a few of the fasteners are loose. The "cracks" he cited were the splits between the intake and exhaust manifolds that share a fastener under a washer. Sorry for the premature request, and thanks for the responses. Jim
