'98 e300 with funnel spoke c-class shoes
these weren't my first choice for a replacement wheel, but for $450 with new tires i couldn't pass them up. the wheel gap isn't terrible for a 40 series and the ride is still good. enjoy:

Not my first choice either but I think they look fine. In fact I wouldn't have expected them to look as good as they do, but as you said for the price with new tires you could hardly pass on them.

thank you. i think the 210 looks fantasic with a more "solid" wheel, but these are growing on me more and more. a set of springs and pads are next on the list.

E55 springs are your best bet.

theres a black e300 here in bakersfield with those on and it actually looks really good. makes the car look more modern and less grandma like.

I have a preference for cars with spoked wheels, particularly seven spokes, but five and nine are also workable as well. The thing I don't like is staggered wheels though, no opportunity to rotate tires which means you're stuck. Again though I think you've made a good choice, it definitely wakes up the exterior of the car a lot.
