M1 Turbo Diesel on sale (O'Reilly's)

Picked up a few gallon jugs of Mobil1 Turbo Diesel at O'Reilly's last week for $19/gallon... just though some of you might be interested. I might have go go grab a few more. Not a bad price!

I stocked up on the $17.99 Rotella too (for the Jetta). Pretty good deals!

No kidding? I am actually going to run it in our Saab... can't beat the price. I assumed it would be good for our MB diesels, too. Oops! Might still throw it at the 300D when it's time to change.

It won't have any problems, any diesel oil with the proper weight is going to be ok. To be honest, these engines are so tough they would probably run with bacon fat in the crankcase.

Actually, I called the store and talked the guy into holding it for me. I sent wifey to pick it up (what a wife!) because I am stuck at work.

She got there (at noon) and as it turns out, the oil has yet to be delivered to the store (sometime today). So she came out emptyhanded and slightly pissed. She is not going back.

Evan, the oil is yours is you want it. It is supposed to be there at 6:30 tonight and being held for 'Ben'.

I will not be able to get them now. It is yours. Just get there at 6:30pm tonight and tell them you want the 4 jugs being held for me.

Yes, this is the one on Hillsborough St. in Durham

It meets CH & CJ requirements. I believe that you meant that it hasn't been certified to Mercedes specs.

Shoot, just read this today. Maybe I can run by there after work. If you still want 4 gals, I'll pick it up and hang on to it for you.

Just got me some. $43 out the door. Regular price would have been like, almost $60.
