If the fuel is coming from a non-temperature compensated pump, you'll get the most fuel during the colder months.

Is it reformulated in your area? Ask a trucker.

I know it is, it would be in AZ or Socal too, it is everywhere AFAIK.

It sucks, I moved to southern California expecting to get better diesel, but nope not at al.

I would call a local petroleum distributor for a purchase of that kind. They would be better able to suit your needs for such a large amount of fuel.

I don't know about everywhere. If the temperatures don't drop below 20 deg it's not needed. But since it lowers fuel mileage, the oil cos might just make it everywhere. Ask a trucker at truck stop.

Seems like this would be a question better asked to the company you're going to get fuel from. Every station and company probably switches fuels at different times.

100 gal is hardly a large bulk order. we get around 5000 gal at a time & are given 5% ~10% discount. Every little bit helps!
Make sure you comply with any fuel transport safety requirements.
Continually we have issues with "work experience kids" at fuel suppliers, gas stations & government depts. For some reason they want the rules for petrol to apply to diesel. It often takes a lot of explaining to them that diesel is not a flammable liquid, its a combustible liquid. There is a big difference.
If you are storing diesel, be careful of moisture, we drain our tanks regularly, including the cars. The lasts 1/2 a gal often has some water in it. Best to have some sort of water separation.

Most local small distributors will charge more than what you can by it for at a regular station. Our marina pays more for gas and diesel than it can be bought for at the local pumps. Would be nice if they didn't dye off road diesel.
