please help me, 1987 300d no tachometer, rough idle, but i have ac and abs
the only way to fix it is by removing the overload protection rely then plug it in, at that time the engine will come out of sick mode for a second then it will go bach in rough idle:confused:

It sounds like a classic OVP relay failure, have you tried a new one?
