High Mounted Stop Lamp Removal 87 300TDT

I've had all the windows on my 87 300TDT tinted except for the rear window because the "high mounted stop lamp" housing is in the way.

I've pulled the tailgate panel and I've searched 6 ways to Sunday here but I can't find any information on what I need to do to finish removing the housing. It looks like I may need to pull the whole motor assembly and wiper in order to pull the stop lamp housing and that would just SUCK.

Does anyone have any definitive info on doing this? I've seen the thread for the 123 but that doesn't have this high mounted stop lamp housing.

I've attached pictures of the tint so far and the rear wiper/center brake lamp housing for reference.

I'm also going to take the rims and have them powder coated matte black in the next few weeks.
