What fuse and vacuum line is that?

So I was replacing my large and small A/C line and sure enough I broke off the small brown vacuum line off that white plastic part that ties into the main vacuum line off the vacuum pump near the master brake cylinder.

And sure enough I broke the fuse that is in front of the master brake cylinder too. What number is that fuse and how and the world do I replace that vacuum item.

To tired to think, it's 1:50 am must sleep.

Not sure about the fuse, the vac line seems to be the main line, some have successfully glided it back together.

Ya, I clearly snapped the nipple off when I was doing battle with the a/c line. I'll have to glue it back on or find some place to replace it. Still can't find out what fuse that is.

Thanks

One day at a time.

You worry so much about the fuse. Surely it has a size or amp rating on it. If you have the two pieces you might even be able to tell how long it was. There is not much variation in fuse length and so in know the amps and the size of the fuse you should be able to buy a new one for 0.19 to 0.39 cents.

I did the same thing!!!

Take a small drill bit and drill the hole out where the nipple broke off. Find a piece of vacuum hard line under the hood, snip off like an inch. Put the hard line back to whatever it went to. Take that 1 inch piece and stick it in that hole you drilled(with glue). Be careful and it will work fine. I actually removed my entire vacuum line and worked on it in the basement. Find a drill bit that matches up to that hard line size.

It worked great for me!

After the glued dried, I sprayed the poop out of that plastic piece with aerospace 303(armor all) so it would not be as brittle.

I just looked at your pic again.

That fuse is for the blower motor(as far as I know, never had an SDL). You will have to order it online or from the dealer. Might be able to find on at the junk yard. It also may be the same rating as the one in the glow plug relay. So you should be able to find a replacement fuse from just about any older MB.

If it is like the auxiliary located blower fuse on the 124 it is a 30 amp fuse. DO NOT put an 80 amp glow plug fuse in there.
