Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck Gallon Jug Availability

FYI I am noticing greater availability of the gallon jugs of Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5w40....decent quantities at a couple of local Walmarts for $24.50. Interestingly, the gallon jugs are not currently availalbe through Amazon (my previous reliable source).

With nine jugs on hand, I guess I can relax a bit!

I just bought 2 gallons last month from Amazon for $55 with free shipping. There was a $12 rebate from Mobil 1 as well.

We have 3 here, but they don't carry the gallons M1 5w40 or even the quarts. They have quarts of M1 in just about every other weight. I bought the 0w20 for the wife's car for $4.99 a quart last month.

every WM seems to have different stocking scenarios. Id run Rotella syn 5w-40 with confidence, it has much better availability. Actually, if you can get schaeffer's near you, Id get their 9000 series 5w-40, better oil than the others... THe add pack is tough to beat.

Yep, I use it in my SD year round. As you know, it makes a HUGE difference in winter cold starting.

Yes, cold viscosity in warmer temps is still high enough to provide correct protection, and decreased cold starting viscosity helps cranking in cold weather.
