Help! Diesel fuel backing out of cap!

Hello everyone, I walked outside to find diesel fuel dripping out of the relief tube behind the back wheel! What do you think could be the cause of this? I could actually see the fuel all the way up to the top of the filler tube. I started the car and it all sucked back down. Car was sitting in the sun and it has gotten really hot. Could it be some vapor lock or something. If anyone could shed some light on this, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

How do I check this? The fuel was coming out of the tube that hangs behind the wheel. Its like it pushed out of the cap and down into the hole that connects to the tube underneath the car.

Validate your fuel cap - loosen it and see if conditions continue. Inside trunk pull the liner back and look at the various lines. Make sure non are crimpted or obstructed.

This happened to me once. Did you really really fill up your car?

Vent cap was where it was leaking from. Either way it ended up solving itself.

I did recently fill up. But I never squeezed any extra clicks out of the pump. I also set the pump(the notches on handle) on the slowest pumping rate. It would be great if it did fix itself!

Give it some time, and move to a different parking spot. You'll probably find after a few days it will disappear.
