300,000th Thread, Who??

I see we are getting close to thread 300,000. I see we are past 299,900 already.

Will it be a Diesel discussuon member???

Is there a prize or Trophy for the person reaching that mile stone?

Who will the special, mysterious person be.

I estimate the timing will make it prime for it to happen in a Junk Refrigerant thread..

I haven`t seen the oil threads so much lately. the AC threads are definately on the rise.

AC in the Spring, and GP in the Fall. It`s a cycle.

Where are you seeing the number? I don't see it. The number I posted was from the ShopForum home page. Why are the numbers different?

Well all I know, as new threads are started, the number in the address bar keeps increasing.
I have no idea why the number on the main page of total threads is different than what is in the address bar. I doknow by watching as things progress, the number keeps increasing.

When I read a thread that of interest to me, I write it down in a note book. I have one for just 4-spd swaps and clutch issues. all I have to do is delete the number in the address bar, type in the new number, and bingo, up comes the thread Iam interested in.

When looking at old threads when this forum started, that number is pretty low, some where there must a #1 thread.

Bill Woods must have the answer.

the number increases because it's more accurate with the number of threads on the forum (it counts threads in hidden forums Ie a moderators Forum etc) it's how many entries are in the SQL Database. atleast thats how it worked on a Vbulletin Forum I've hosted in the past

bingo.
all the hidden threads count towards the total in the address bar.
there are 4 hidden forums only us moderators can see.
there may be another forum that only the webmaster can see too... I don't know that much.
so, I doubt the 300K mark will matter much, only the OFFICIAL thread count will be the deal breaker!
