Window Switch Brands

I just purchased two front (center console) window switches made by Uro Parts for my '84 300D. They look great and work but to my disappointment they are not illuminated. I am assuming this is due to their $20 price tag. Does anyone know if OEQ or MTC models are illuminated? Or does one have to buy the over-the-top Mercedes ones?

If they are illuminated or not it should say so in the ad.

What is not said is that even if illuminated the Color of the lighs is the as the sotock color.
I read something about that in an old thread but remember littile. Maybe it will jog someones memory.

I once bought an MTC dual window switch assembly. Surprise! The light was green.

Returned it and cleaned up my switches, and swapped the toggle/rocker with mint ones from rear door mounted window switches. Now I have good switches that illuminate the correct orange.

Hmmm........I don't recall, as I haven't been in that area for a while. Aren't those switches illuminated by fiber optic cables from the "spider"? Did you ensure they were installed with the fiber optics connected?
