300TD rear wheel Calipers

I know the rear 300TD wheel calipers are a much higher price than the ones for the 300D. is it because they have more clamping force because the TD may haul more weight?

would there be an advantage to installing them on a 300D?

GM X body? don`t tell me the calipers from them fit the mercedes??

yeah, thanks. I brought up the question of the thread count, and I hit the magic number. sounds suspiciously rigged.

No I don't think they'll fit, but the '80s GM X-bodies had the tendency to lock the rear wheels up in a panic situation to where it will make the car spin out of control.

I didn` think about locking up the back end, they must have a proportioning valve on the TD`s. I know my Datsun PU has one. I had never heard about the GM cars doing that. maybe that is why we don`t see many of those cars around.
