Wiper Delay relay

I found this site and have sent off my 300SD relay for the conversion. Thought others might be interested. http://www.mbelectronicupgrades.com/Pulse_Wiper_%28old_and_new%29.html.

I've been meaning to purchase one also from Bob aka "techguy512" here in the forum.

Let us know how it goes!

Received both the wiper delay relay and tach amp. Both work as advertised. Great service! Thanks Bob.

What exactly is the difference between the wiper delay that MB installed in the cars, and the new modifyied version?

The one in the car does one wipe every XX seconds, are they now less often or more often, or are they adjustable?

They are adjustable. There’s a .pdf on his site that explains better than I can remember right now. I’m waiting on one as I write.

The stock relay wipes once every 7-8 seconds. The modified relay is adjustable from 3 sec to 40 sec, on the fly, while driving...

It uses all stock switchgear and wiring, so there is no rewiring necessary in the car. Pull out the modified relay and plug in a stock relay and you're 100% back to the factory setup.

BOB, thanks. I read your web site, but didn`t see where it was adjustable. That is pretty slick the mod you came up with.

sometimes I tap the end of the stalk and get the 3 wipes when I only want maybe one.
