I have one off a 350 SDL , but dont know if it will work on 300SDL even though it seems to be the same size??? If not, where can I pick up a reman 300SDL injection Pump

It'll get you by in a pinch but the torque curve and governor settings are different.

Why not have yours rebuilt?

The car is owned by a friend who cant seem to find a pump...They are asking for big bucks

to rebuild the injection Pump..

I ran a 93 SD pump, likely the same pump as a 350SDL, with a 3.0 block and it was fine. I don't rev to 4,000 so it doesn't matter whether the governor cuts at 4,300 or 4,800 rpm.

Someone said the ELR actuator in the 350s have 4 pins vs 3 pins in the 300s but that you can get it to work. I don't know anything more about that.

I know of an SDL in a junk yard

I've got a low mileage one off a wrecked 1987 300SDL. 122,000 miles, relatively low... If you dont find one, PM me.

Have one with under 100,000, but it's on an engine I plan to use in a 350SDL. I have access to a few other cars, but not sure of mileage. Would have to drive there to see.
