Stanadyne fuel additive

Anyone have any info on it?

The president of my local MB club was talking about the change in the diesel lubrocity from suffer to low suffer and said that the older engines can have problems.

I just got some of the performance stuff and figured Id give it a try. We are taking a road trip at the end of the week and thought this would be a good time to test it.

The PO of my 87 300D left a case of the stuff in the trunk when I got the car. I haven't used any but the car is no worse for having run with it for close to 200K miles.

I use it in the 97 'burb td with a Stanadyne IP. I don't notice any difference.

I use Stanadyne Lubricity in my 24V Cummins. I use it sometimes in my 85SD but the SD injection pumps are no where as touchy (read aggravating, temperamental, expensive, unreliable, problematic) as the VP44. There is a lubricity study that is a good read. Google should turn it up.

Yea, same for the GM 6.5 diesels with standyne pumps! Most people just run some two stroke oil on fillups. Seems to be the best for lubricity, unless you can find some B5 at the pump, then that's all you need.

Sulphur decreased, suffering increased.

The MSDS makes it sound as snake oil. Diesel fuels already has all of the components listed.

Sounds to me like someone doesn't understand the purpose (or the limitations) of an MSDS.
