Trying to decide if I could remove/install a new ac compressor on a 1983 300CD. Can anyone send me the factory workshop page(S) on the replacement? I have lost my Disk 2 for the 123 (which contains the 1983 year!). Any advice gladly appreciated as well! I have the vacuum pump & gauges...just never had to remove the compressor.

Once the system is evacuated, it's more/less the same as an alternator or a P/S pump.

only issue is the oil cooler lines are mounted on the a/c bracket. and it's DIRTY under there.
keep note of where the spacers go.
