Do all w123 have OVP relay?
Searched for an answer. Couldn't find it. Do all w123 have an OVP relay? I have a 1984 300TD euro. Would mine have one? Thank you!

I don't think any of the W123's had an OVP. I think that is on the W124's along with the computer, probably on the 202's also..

My '85 300D-T (California) had an OVP under the dash on the right (passenger) side. OVP is used to protect the EDS (Electronic Diesel System) and ABS electronics. EDS in the '85 300D-T was primitive and controlled only the EGR valve while ABS was available as an option but I don't think many USA models got it. An '84 Euro 123 might have an OVP but I have no evidence that it does.
The 1987 300D Turbo (W124) got a more sophisticated EDS that also controls idle speed but it uses the same OVP as the 123. Later 124 models were far more complex and used a different OVP, as did gasoline-engined models. Jeremy

No, remove the passenger side under dash panel, it should right there on the far left.

Far right, I think you mean, except in the UK.
