Need help finding this switch on my 190D.

My 1984 190D(601 motor) has a sensor on the pass side that is broken off.
It seems to control the electric fan, but I am not sure..
It is screwed into the Thermostat housing casting, and only has one wire going to it yet the Fastlane site does not list it...
Can someone give me a part number or something?
Here is a pic... its in the center of the pic with a red top..

My understanding is that it is for emissions. It switches off around 100C to disable EGR.

It was not found on later model 601 engines when it became more electrically controlled.

Its worth testing for continuity at the clip and the harness to the egr brain (aka: control unit) to make sure that is the switch's function. But, I am quite certain it is not for the A/C fan.

Think I have a spare if you want it, but if your egr is bypassed, seems silly.

Managed to double check with my own 190D. This switch is for the Aux fan, not EGR, emission or anything special. It is NO ( normally open ) and when at temp 100C will close and short to chassis, switching on the Aux fan. You can test the fan by shorting the wire to chassis. The fan should come on.

The switch looks good from the picture. Unless the top is sheared off otherwise it should still be good. They hardly go wrong. You can solder a wire to the pin if necessary. I am not sure about the part number but the new part may be 3 prongs, get the same color. You need to know which prong to connect the wire. I do not know.

Thanks.
The red cap is broken off at the brass body, you can see its crooked.
I just pushed it back on for the pic...
