I am replacing an aftermarket failed blower (climate control) with an OEM Behr model. The problem is I thought I knew how it sat in the cradle (left and right sides). The pictorial I had for the repair seems to show the electrical connections on the blower sit on the passenger side of the car. The aftermarket blower also had the connections on the pass. side.
This morning I had to get a new (used) spring clip from a parts car. When I opened it up, the blower sat in the opposite manner. That meaning, the electrical connectors were on the drivers side. It was an OEM blower but I have no idea if original or someone put it in back-asswards along the way.
Does anyone have a picture or can speak with authority about which way the new (Behr) blower should sit in the cradle. Wire connections on drivers or passenger side??? I also though the passenger side wiring was correct as it sits better in the cradle that way but it can rest OK eitherway it seems. Now I have no idea what is correct
- help please!!
