Good Source for New Coil Springs?

Going to refresh an older w115 300d. Front end sitting a bit low due to spring sag, has anyone found a source for coil springs that are reasonable. Oem is awfully expensive these days, non oem German replacement is fine -thanks!

Phil just quoted me 266.00 each for oem! No aftermarket available though I think just learned that a w107 spring is identical -

There is some aftermarket available, but they're built, not pulled off a shelf. Price is as you'd expect.

Here's a link to one I know of.

Pricy, but the idea of progressive rate springs on my 240d is tempting.

Coil Spring Specialties of St. Marys Kansas made a set for my W115 that were perfect. Less than OE by far. And if you want a little stiffer or lower etc. they can include that in the making at no extra charge.

You might just might get some joy with the English manufacturer Quinton Hazell - I know they are flogging W123 springs at the moment...
