The metal cap came off of one of my lug bolts after tire rotation.

I have a 1991 350SD with painted wheels and I need an original lug bolt. It is one of the longer 92mm bolts with the cap on the outside.

The dealer does not have them and there are no junk yards close by. The aftermarket ones are ugly.

Does anyone have one they can sell me?

The original bolts where superseded due to breaking during wheel remove/install..

The x3 superseded part number is
Lug Bolt
MB# 000 990 48 07


The caps where discontinued many years ago.
The last "plastic lug bolt hole plug/cap" stock was exhausted 4-6 years ago.

I know where to get some of the original lug bolts, but it is in the next state. Surely, someone has one laying around!
