Condenser question.

So after working in some more urgent stuff the time has come to replace my A/C condenser, which got a 1/4 inch hole a week after I bought the car, about 3 years ago. Needless to say, the system is bone dry, and I'll need to recharge it. I'm looking into suggestions of what to look for, knowing it has been inoperative for all this time. Also, I'm shopping around for condenser units, and I've found different prices out there; higher prices around $185 for a unit at discount ac parts, mid-range prices at around $85 for a Silla unit and lower prices at around $35 at a couple of websites. (I was unable to find a condenser on fastlane... )
I used to work at an autoglass company and I know that when you ask for an original Mercedes glass they will just slap a Mercedes sticker on it and charge you $100 extra for the same aftermarket glass. Is this the same case here? Per the pics and descriptions of these places I really cannot tell the difference between one unit and the other. Any suggestions?

There's an idea, but this condenser is rather old, it might not be the only spot that needs welding... I might end up paying more to fix this one than for a new one.
