Heated windshield leak. How to fix

1985 300SD W126. Found a leak at the windshield heater. It is under the passenger side lower edge of the windshield, has 2 places where hoses connect . Only visible after removing the black grille around the windshield wipers.

How to fix. Or just leave it bypassed?

History. Found leak. Seemed to be antifreeze at the transmission pan. Could not tell where from. Pressure tested system. Windshield heater (and lower rad hose) felt wet. Definitely a puddle of antifreeze in this space under the windshield wiper black grille. No antifreeze smell in cabin surprisingly. No fogged windshield. No leak at bottom torque converter (core plug). Bypassed windshield heater. Pressure tested again. Only leak at lower rad hose.

For now, just bypassed the windshield heater by routing a hose around it.

Have searched and have not found any info on the windshield heater and no photos.

Live in Los Angeles. Do not need a windshield heater. Thanks.
