Plug for coolant flushing block 606.910 NA

Going to flush cooling system (and replace t'stat at same time) on the 606.910 NA. 94 E300.

Does anyone know if there is a plug in the head somewhere so that I can flush the jackets in the head? And if so where it is located?
Seems a waste to only flush out the rad.

Thanks

There's a block drain on the exhaust side of the block just ahead of the bell housing and block heater connection. It's a nipple that takes a 22mm wrench and just about fits a garden hose.

GrRed or green coolant for a 1994 E300D?

Just an update...

It was a 19mm nipple on my car. A bit of a pain to get to as the brake master cylinder is in front.

Also, can anyone confirm the correct coolant for my car - red or green?

I telephoned a main dealer today and they advised that the green (3 years between changes) coolant is the correct type for my E300D. I asked about the red stuff but they told me it was for MB cars 2000 onwards which has a life of aprox 10 years.

Thanks for your help so far.

Not Green!! Not red either.

Gold color coolant! No green ever.

MB Q 1 03 0002 Anticorrosion/Antifreeze Agent or Zerex G-05 only.
