Well this sucks...

Coming home from gas station cuz dad just "had" to run out of gas while mowing.. i decide to whack bambi's mom w/ the W126...

*sighs*take deep breath*

The driver's side euro headlight is gone as is the turn signal.
The hood and fender gap got a little wider
-and-
The little black trim piece under the headlight is bent wayyy in.

so umm.. does anybody have a spare headlight/turnsignal and "little trim piece" they would like to part with??

I'm fine btw.. this all happened like 20mins ago so im still shakey.. first accident (17 yrs old)

*sighs*

Thank you.

Your lucky. my brother hit a fair few deer with his car. Each one was a total. Deer are huge there... what finially did in the tempo he drove is when a very large buck went through the windshield... Glad you are ok

That's pretty minimal damage for a deer collision.

The body color strip under the headlight was ~$12 from the dealer unpainted a few years ago.

There's a pair of 126 Euros in the parts forum... in case you go the other way

Glad you're OK. Gather the deer didn't make it? Could have been a lot worse, you have real deer in Wisconsin (I'm originally from Superior). My wife almost totaled her car by hitting one of our wimpy California Mule Deer (they diet to stay skinny in hopes of getting into Hollywood or modeling). 'Course that was a 210, not as tough a car as the 126.

Euro doesn't imply RHD. It means that the lights actually do what they're supposed to do: light up the road ahead.

Finally we now have legal headlamps that work in cars here in the US. Thirty years ago this was not the case. Sealed-beams were mandated, and they do not work well.

The Euro lamps aren't technically legal, but I've run them for decades on various cars and have known other to do so, and never had a problem.

Yup yup.. I was running euros... scored them off of ebay for $80... thats why i was soo pissed that the deer smashed this one to tiny bits...

I just didnt know what he implied when he said "in case you go the other way."
