More serious horns, needed more Amperage

Never having been satisfied with the sound of the Mercedes horns, I replaced them with a pair of Fiam hi + low tone horns, but found that the stock wiring does not carry enough juice to make them sound properly. Just get sort of a gasp sound out...

It was necessary to add a relay to supply more juice, taken right off the battery to the wiper of the relay. The coil of the relay gets the wires that used to connect to the old horns. The Normally Open contact on the relay feeds the Fiams.

Now it blasts!

Here are the Bosch Europa FSA Supertone horns, relayed to the battery with Cascade (Jim B.) as the soundman in this clip

If I had a w123 maybe, a little more in character.

The Fiams I got were from the wrecker pulled from a Ford Crown Vic... $3
