Unhappy Please Help!

i need a wiring diagram for a 84 300sd. more specifically i need it for the starter side. i found a couple forms that have been helpful. but i know its not the ignition switch or fuse or starter its self. but i do need to find the signal side of things so i don't have to start my car by jumping the starter. if anyone else has any ideas on how to figure this problem out it would be greatly appropriated.

the car started yesterday but didnt start when i just tryed it. i know its not the lock and tubler along with the ignition switch because i just replaced those last week. i found someone that said the jump to the starter siloniod so i did and the starter cranked. so all i know is that the problem is somewhere between the silnoid and ignition switch. if i could get the pin info for the ignition switch that would help too.

Did you replace the electrical portion of the ignition switch? Jumping terminals 1 and 3 in the junction box on the right inner fender just outboard of the alternator should energize the starter.

& that may also suggest the inhibitor switch (neutral safety switch) on the trans is the problem.
Have you tried jiggling the trans leaver around or trying in N instead of P to see if the starter comes to life?
