Part ID Help

Motor mounts ---DONE!

On to something new...

While driving home yesterday I noticed the faint smell of anti freeze. This was confirmed by the radiator water low level light coming on.

After getting home there was water and steam coming from a kind of "Y" fitting more on the drivers side that seems to go into the heater core forward of the firewall just below the air intake screen below the windscreen. One of the hoses was clamped onto this fitting while the other two connections do not have clamps. Naturally the one leaking does not have a clamp on it.

I've looked thru some schematics and can't find a part number. Does anyone know what this is and can it be purchased thru this site?

Thanks,

Len

The aux water pump on this model is on the pax side, in front of the battery next to the mono/duo valve. You can guess why I know that. LOL!

I think he means the return line by the oil filter.

That may be it. It is on the other side of the firewall from the oil filter.

Does anyone know the name of the "Y" coupler? or a part number.. the MEO 20.1272.3 apparently is not a Mercedes number. I need this part too.

Help

You did not tell us which car this is on.
The VIN# would help with this part.

I am going to assume it is the
1995
E300D
and will use this
VIN# WDBEB31E5SC116905
to look up parts.
