115 blower motor - electrical info?

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know the stats on the blower motor for the 115? I know it is 12 volts, but does anyone know the amps, or the RPM?

I need to replace mine, and I don't want to spend $450 for what is really a $10 electric motor that spins a plastic fan.

Thanks.

I would look in a 4 Seasons catalog at a parts store, find something that would fit.

What is this Four Seasons you speak of? I went to one store that has electrical surplus, but all the motors were either too small, too big, or had no shafts. All the motors were about $10, so all I have to do is find one, adapt it to the shroud and mount the plastic fan on the shaft.

Not related to motor specs however I had problems with mine and was able to lubricated to get it going again. By design the motor is expose to the elements, it's right under the grill with a louver over it. I removed the outside/top grill, would need to come off if replacing anyway, took a shop vac and cleaned the whole inside area, routed the lubricant via small hose to the top of the motor by reaching inside, long arms help, and sprayed. At first no-go but after it worked it's way through, it worked. Not sure how long it will last but it's an option before replacing

Four Seasons is an air conditioning parts supplier. I would try a NAPA store and ask to look at a catalog. They have illustrations with dimensions for a lot of parts. I was looking at one and noticed that there were a lot of different blower motors. Maybe you could find one that will work with little modification.
