OM617 motor mount replacement?
the DIY article is pretty much useless, although the job doesnt look too hard. I dont have an allen socket the right size for the lower bolt though, does anyone know what size it is?

Simple job. Did it in about 30 minutes the first time. Replaced both in that time. Jack engine up a little loosen the bolts, jack up engine a little more, remove mounts and replace, then reverse... Easy.

Don't overdue jacking up the Engine.
After the back of the Engine and or the Transmission hits the Fire Wall you start to lift up the whole Car and that reuslts in a dented Oil Pan; or worse a cracked Oil Pickup on the Oil Pump.

Clean the bolt heads!
Cleaning out the motor mount bolt cavities cannot be over-stated!
