606 prechamber question
i have the prechambers out of the head and was wondering if the "ball' can be removed for cleaning and if so how. are they pressed in or screwed in?

They are just part of the casting. Not a separate piece.
Get a pipe brush. |

The ball is not meant to come out. Removal would create so much damage that you'd never get the ball back in to stay. I used an ultrasonic bath filled with water in which I immersed a cup of acetone (the only solvent I had, not necessarily the best) and soaked the prechambers in that all day. Various picks and brushes were then used to remove as much carbon as possible. It doesn't need to be perfect.

Turns out the ball assembly comes out quite easily. Here's some shots:
Front and back side: Holding jig for pre-chamber: Comes out with no problem. Front and back sides: When re-assembling, the line shows the proper orientation:
