Removal of 124 Dash Panel Under Pasenger Airbag
I am currently at a loss to figure out how to remove the panel located underneath the passenger side airbag in my 124. There are two screws at the bottom that I have removed, but the panel is still connect somehow up near the airbag panel.
How do I remove this thing, there must a couple more screws or bolts that I am not seeing.

Remove the 1 long screw holding the airbag in and remove the airbag. Then you will see the additional fasteners.

Thanks a million! You're right, it was the one long 10 mm bolt that secures the airbag. Removing the airbag uncovers two large screws that must be taken out. After that, the far passenger side air vent must be removed to get to two more 8 mm screws down inside. Whew! Now on to the vacuum manifold troubleshooting. Thanks again, J. - Mark
