What's the market value of my 91 300D?

1991 300D. Trying to assess whether to keep the car for parts or sell it. It has a rusted out right front spring perch. If I were to spend the money to fix that, the assumptions about car would be as follows.

208,500 miles
No cruise or AC, everything else functional
Red (not sure what precise color is called) on black
Excellent condition (PO really took good care of it)

What could I expect to get in today's market?

My 1992 300d with 201,xxx miles was totaled last year and progressive valued it at $4600, thats what I got from them and thats the cut off point they used when pricing repairs for it. I would assume that would be top end for it. That car also had no rust at all.

Sorry to say that value is a perseption of condition by an interested buyer. Here in Texas its all about how good the a/c works not so much rust unless it was a coastal car.Being from up north Im sure rust is more of a main concern and is probably frowned on with disguist .The motor runs like a top and the trannie shifts great youll be good at $2000. Voluntarily give up the fact of the rust and see if you can get estimates to economically fix the issue and include that in your bargaining ,your showing that it is an issue but thats why the buyer is getting such a great deal.
