Where to run the Clear line off the Intake on an 83 300D.

So where do I run the line off the back of the Intake manifold on a W123. The line is broken and brittle so it needs to be replaced. Do you run the clear tubing or do you go to rubber tubing. I'm thinking it heads back to the tyranny but I just don't remember. I'm trying to sort out the vaccum lines and need to replace a couple of cracked hoses.

Pics are helpful because I don't know what each of the parts are called int he diagrams. It's been about a year since I yanked the motor and I did not take enough pictures. As of now I have the car running and driving but only on short trips around the block. Low on power and erratic trans shifts because of missing or leaking vacuum lines.

Thanks

To a switchover valve on the firewall near the brake booster. Second line goes from valve to the ALDA. The line needs to be semi-rigid.

I would just buy the genuine part. A substitute might not be up to the task when it comes to fit, form and function.

I've used soft copper tubing with rubber hose at the ends.
