Heater Valve Leak
It appears I may have a heater valve leak on my 1982 240D. Is there any use to think of repacking or repairing it or should I just buy a new one. I notice they cost about $40 new. I'm going to try to verify if it is a loose hose clamp or the valve. It's minor now, but will probably only get worse.

The rebuild kit for the valve is around $20 and is very easy to do. You also could have a leaking hose as you said, after I rebuilt mine I had to go back two times and tighten the clamp.

DIESELNATION,
Is that a dealer kit? I don't see it in Fastlane or Performance Products. Mine is a dual cable operated valve -- not an ACC Monovalve. Thanks.

Sorry. I don't know about that.
