Parking brake pedal removal

w123

I'm trying to remove the parking brake pedal assy from the driver's footwell area. I've got some rust I'm trying to grind out and weld in new pieces in that same area and the PB cabling is driving me bonkers.

I know you can do it and I've see pictures where other members have removed it. But how the heck do you get it out?

I have three nuts/bolts removed at the front of the assy that held a brass colored bracket in as well as the rear nut that held the assy to the inner wheel well. What else is holding it?

Thanks. I didn't have my FSM with me.

So the answer is there is one more nut on the engine side of the firewall that needs to be loosened. It's near the hood hinge drain.
