Rough start white, blue, black oil smelly smoke

Hi, I have a 1994 S350 turbo diesel and lately when I start the engine hot or cold it runs rough and smokes then I turn it off and restart it and the roughness go away and no more smoke, some times it starts to smoke when I stay idle for a long time, Some one suggested I have a bad "cold start valve" is their such thing on this engine?

I'm not familiar with the w140's but your symptoms sound like air in the fuel lines.
are there any fuel wetness on any of the fuel lines on the IP?

not on the IP but on only on some overflow lines.
question; if their was any air in the lines wont it be rough idling all the time.

not always, especially if you park with your front end higher than the rear... fuel tends to bleed back towards the tank, when you crank the car, most of the air is returned to the tank, or pushed out of the path, then when you restart the fuel is purged, and it runs well.
another possibility is bad glow plugs, causing a cylinder or two not to fire up at first.

Yes the glow plugs are a mistery to me but and i need to address it soon
But defenatly their is no cold start valve that you know of

Does the smoke smell like diesel, motor oil or coolant?
