Fuel System Maintenance
So after much idling on this forum (finding answers via search most of the time), I decided to ask about this subject. After making the journey back from Kansas to Texas, my fuel tank is pretty low. My vehicle doesn't present any issues of fuel starvation but the sender unit is very inaccurate (doesn't drop below half a tank).
So I'm curious if I should take this opportunity to drain the tank and clean the strainer while I'm at it. Also, does the fuel sender unit and strainer use the same size O-ring?

Thanks Bobo, I was already planning to clean the fuel sender unit. I was more concerned about the intake strainer on the bottom of the tank.
