OK, getting UP$ET - too many part no's!
Very simple question. What do I order to replace my front struts and rear shocks? Looking it up on fastlane (and other place), there are hoards of part numbers for the same car
 Good grief!Car: 1993, 300D, 2.5T (really nothing special here!!!!) Need part no for the following (just stock stuff, nothing fancy here for me, just want to restore the ride quality to original) 1) front strut 2) Rear shocks 3) Any associated hardware's for both (like tower mounts, bump stops, bellows, anything else in there i should replace while I am that far in) THANK YOU BIGTIME FOR ANY HELP!!!!

pretty much a set of options for preference of brand... most choose Bilstein comforts I think...
I gotta replace the squeaking strut mounts in my TD... I think I'll go Febi on that. I totally agree, Phil is the way to figure out what you should get! tell him you want OE, and everything you need to update them, he'll put together a list, give you part numbers if you want, and charge your card!

Good advice. This isn't a real exciting thread, but I feel the need to comment further. I took the advice and sent Phil an e-mail. I had a response within 30 minutes with all the part numbers and his suggestions. I had a couple more question and fired it back and again another response answering everything I needed right away. I don't know what to do with myself anymore when I actually get someone who gives a darn.
