puddle of water and lots of condensation
while chasing a doorlock leak i came across a large puddle of water under the mat on the rear passenger side floor. My windows fog up super fast when it rains. the bottom of the windshield fogs up first and the most. the seal on the outside of the windshield isnt perfect and there is a tiny hole, but its hard to believe that tiny hole could cause such a huge leak. I'm not a mechanic and have only been working on this car for a few months. I know that drains exist and could cause issues like this, but i dont know where or how to check them. Any ideas at all?? thx!

Look under the battery tray - notorious for collecting dirt/leaves/water, and rusting. You could also search on this subject for more ideas on possible causes and fixes. The drains are near the hood hinges - but it sounds as if it's too late for simply cleaning alone.
What year/model would help.

The 123 cars have a tendency to lose their a/c water drain hose and dump a/c condensate on the floor. It runs to the lowest point, the rear passenger footwells. Replacing the hose fixes the problem.

the "tiny hole" is likely not the worst problem with it... the problem is all the seal issues, and the amount of rust under there...

yeah... heavily rusted tray is likely hiding a nice big hole in the firewall underneath it.
where are you? post your general location in your userCP in the upper left corner. it'll help target the assistance you get on here! I've fixed the battery holes with por-15 and fiberglass, I've sealed and coated steel after pop-riviting it to the area and epoxying with JB-weld, then underbody coated the area, and I've covered with aluminum tape, and coated with underbody coating... all 3 worked to stop the water... I bet the metal/JB-weld repair holds up the longest.
