What Garrett turbo rebuild kit do I need?

I picked up a pretty nice '91 300D with the OM602 2.5TD. It has 259K on the clock but is clean and most everything works too.The turbo is shot and spraying oil into the intake and exhaust. Anyhow, I pulled back the bellow to the turbo and gave it a brake cleaner bath. It is a Garrett unit. My is it's a basic T3 (tb2510/2550). Do I just buy a rebuild kit for a T3 or is there something special I should know?

You will no know if the bearing surfaces on the Turbine Wheel or in the Bearing Housing is worn out or not until you get it apart.

Even though the T3,TO3 and so on is a common Turbocharger there is not much information available on Bearing Clearances and such.
The various home type rebuild threads on the internet cannot even decide on what the proper method of torquing the shaft nut is.

Note: Resealing a Turbo and putting in new Bearings is not the same a rebuilding the Turbo Charger.

Somewhere below is some of the info you need:
