Thumbs down My belts are screaming at me

I got a 77 300d about a month ago and since it has been in my possision the belts have been squeeky. I have conditioned them several times and the problem seems to go away for a while. It recently got cold outside and now they are outright screaming.. One of my pulley wheels isnt spinning true and im wondering if this can cause the squeekiness. ill be taking the radiator off this evening and i thought it would be a perfect time to examine the possible sources of the noises. Can anybody tell me what i need to look for?

That pulley not spinning true is acting like a wood planer does for surfacing a wood plank..
You need to straighten ( may not be possible ) or replace with a good one...
It does not take much extra friction given you are putting that belt through that pulley millions of times for it to wear the sides down to where you do not have the surface area sufficient to provide the friction you need to run the items needing power from the crank pulley... once a belt gets worn to where it is sitting in the groove as compared to riding the sides of the pulley you have a problem tightening it enough to provide the friction.. it then starts stretching instead and wearing even faster...
So, new proper surface, new belt to go along with that....

Two thoughts. Belts cross section is worn? Or if you can turn the alternator fan pulley by hand the belts are far too loose. Or a combination of the two.

Certainly if a pulley is substandard change it.
