Waaahgh! no wiper in my 87 wagon
If i pull it up it returns to home

sorry, I was trying to type on my phone.
anyway, on the way home from the daycare, my wipers would not come back on... grrrr. I have a spare set from a 95TE, so I'm ok, but two days of solid rain, I'm going to need em! the motor is not seized, and it's not a blown fuse either... if I pull the wiper up, the motor powers it back to the home position...

Any chance it's the combo switch on the steering column went south? Bad electrical connection?
On my blue 87, low speed works, high speed works, but when I push in for "wash" (with the wipers in the "off position), I get spray on the W/S but no wiper action.
