Brake-pad change dangerous on a E320 Bluetech
Good day.
I overheard a conversation where a person was saying that it was dangerous for a DIY'er to change out the front brake-pads because it's possible that the brakes could somehow activate and blow out the pistons while you're working. Is this possible? Regards,

I believe that pertains to 05 & 06 CDI's only. SBC brake system was eliminated after that.
With those models its necessary to disconnect the ABS harness before working on brakes. Front AND rear.
