I also digged out my old maintenance log book, and my antenna mast was also from laynlow - very good people, very good service.

I bought a uro mast just for fun a d the top part rusted. I'll eventually buy a hirschman.

Don't encourage them.

I guess I cant recall what I paid the last time, and dont know what they go for today, but the last one I bought at the dealer and didnt think it was that expensive.

My Hirschman seems to need some viagara to get it up lately! :D I'm going to order a real Hirschman mast soon.

I just saw this thread after I ordered. I knew that $16.67 was way too cheap for a hirschmann mast but OEM wasn't in the budget so 3 days later i get a URO antenna from laynlow1, get pissed, install it anyway since i didnt want to damage my new gear set with the jammed hirschmann mast and well so far so good but its only been nearly 2 weeks. It's the only URO part on my car and when I see rust, I'm going for an original Hirschmann Y4 mast. You get what you pay for.

To add, I am sure mine is a uro....I just wanted my tunes back, and 70$ for oem at the time was wayyy to much....my mast is going over a year in use...all has been fine but it doesn't sit flush like the OEM one...

I'd rather use a coat hanger than put URO on my car.

I bought a replacement mast for our 420SEL from the dealership. It was only $30. It even had installation instructions on the bag that it came in!

Part number? What year/model? There are several different masts. Some are more expensive than others.
