1985 300sd ignition switch
I went and looked at a 1985 300sd today that had been parked for 2 years and we could not get the key to turn. I know that it is a pain to get the switch out with drilling or driving the pin out. My question is can I crank the car any other way to at least hear the motor run? Then I could decide if the car is worth persuing or not. The owner told me that it would be left up to me to get the car to run. Thanks in advance.
