I am not sure what color the car is. If you look at it one way it's brown. If you look at it from another angle then it's more red than anything.

I installed some fold down cup holders in it today. I love this little car. I owned an '87 SDL for a few years but I enjoy this car more than the SDL. I only add oil every 1500 to 1800 miles. It is getting 29 mpg in mixed driving and over 30 mpg on the highway. Did I mention that I love this car?

I would LOVE to get a differential out of a 300D Turbo and install it into my 240D. I know that it will be slow off the line but surely it would be somewhat quieter. Maybe not.

Thanks!

I need to find the front carpets for the driver and passenger areas. The color is palomino and the style is the loop pile. The padding on the back of the driver's side is gone as in not there! The passenger side was replaced with the same color but of a different style pile. If anyone has those two mats in fairly decent shape and they would like to sell them then please let me know.

I had good luck reinstalling the bumber rubber strip by soaking it in hot water for an hour and then sliding it tnto the channel. I need a piece of carpet to replace the strips that run alongside the doors.
