double flex disc 300SD ??

I never had a chance to see bottom of mine 300sd donor car,so I wonder
is it true that 300sd has a double flex:

The rear part isn't a flex disc. It looks like the mounting flange for the flex disc. Earlier models have thee ears sticking out for the flex disc to mount to. That one has a full ring for a mounting flange.

From what I have read, it is a vibration dampener.
It has the outer metal ring and an inner triangle metal piece with rubber in between.

I pulled one off a 300D, and the rubber was ripped.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.

My 85 SD has a front and rear flex disk. I changed them both out last year.

My 85 300SD looks like that also tried to check it last night and could not really see anything.
