Shift gate light intermittent
 

For years, I have had this problem and it seems it is time for a permanent fix!

The shift gate bulb fits into a plastic holder that clips into side of shift gate. There are two wires that come up into the holder - one to center connector and one to ground side of bulb socket.

If I keep the incoming wires steady and just move the holder from side to side, the bulb goes on and off.

Has anyone had any success fixing this problem with some type of mod??

Are replacement holders available?
